Stay home, Stay alive.
Do NOT trust everything Trump states, he's a fat liar like Johnson. They are only interested in money, NOT the health of the US nation.
Easter my ***! more like 12 months minimum!
For the US, France and the UK the worst is yet to come soon, many more will die in agony.
Yeah, shame on Trump for being positive and optomistic...
No matter how much good the man does, the media will be there with their BS. And people all over the world think they know everything about it...based on what the political media machine has mislead them to belive.
Enough is enough.
All - Let's not get too political in this tread. I am interested in how each of you are impacted and it would be nice to lend some humor during these times.
I live in Va
My wife is a high school teacher, and we are fortunate that she is at home with our 3rd grader. This is the 2nd week that schools have been closed state wide.
I work in QC for an automotive fuel and ac valve mfg.
We are still working, and considered essential in the workforce because it is the transportation industry.
We sell to Most of the automakers, including, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, and Nissan. As well as several of their suppliers, whom are all still open, and using this time to stock up their parts on hand, so the company I work for is going strong.
There are also only a handfull of cases reported near where I live.
I count myself, my family, my coworkers, and general area as very blessed and fortunate, as it has obviously become very serious in other parts of the country, and world.
And I don't want this to turn political either.
As I said, enough is enough.
Shut up with blame and work collectively and civily on a solution...and optimism in that should be welcomed!
Well I, for one, have refrained from spraying my husband down in Lysol, for the time being, as we've both been home for over a week Michigan has a 'stay at home' order until the 13th of April, so we're hunkering down and keeping my sister fed who lives just down the road (twiggy and doesn't like to cook). Our 18 year old Kitty is on weekly vet treatments so I'm happy to report that they are still open. Per Federal rules, we aren't allowed to go into the veterinarian's building so one person comes out and carries him into the office from the car. 15 minutes later he's back in the car and headed home. He seems happy that the humans are home and can go outside to play.
Apparently my job is considered essential (energy industry/infrastructure) but we've closed down our store, temporarily, to keep things safe and follow Michigan orders. We actually closed down prior to the order out of concern for general health and well being of everyone involved. I don't know when we'll reopen - it's too soon to tell.
If anyone is craving carbs and needs a good 'no knead' bread recipe, we made this over the weekend. Easy to make and is good with a bowl of soup
Speaking of facebook. Saw this one tonight and had a good laugh:
All humor aside, I probably really should get outside and work on my Rover. Anyone else have Gladys Kravitz as a neighbor? Today she ran to the window and stared out when my sister came over to pick up lunch. I would have to imagine that I'd have a constant audience if I pumped up the tire and changed the lugnuts...
