Cries for HELP - and then nothing!!!
One often sees on a forum pleas for immediate HELP and many do their best to accommodate but often the OP is never heard from again and has presumably solved THEIR problem. It's common to most forums. One doesn't expect a gushing outpouring of thanks on bended knee but it wouldn't hurt them to post that they have solved their problem and how they achieved it rather than the selfish non reply. It's the old story of the boy that cried 'wolf' as next time around no-one will answer them and they'll have to pay a professional to solve their problems. Surely it doesn't take more than a few minutes to post a reply and in so doing maybe help others in the same predicament.
Are you talking to me?....

- If 'yes' then I'd like to apologize and let you know that I read your post about Barbour jackets and jealousy just took over. I haven't been able to bring myself to respond before now.. there's no way a man could be more of a collector than me
I know being green isn't an attractive trait for a lady (unless someone is seeking a sugar mama) but I just cannot help myself...
A man should only have so many Barbour Jackets...
- If 'no', then I'll still apologize but this time for misunderstanding. Sigh.. I'm so confused. As you can see from my overuse of emoticons it has emotionally been a rough few days...
No, I still have not figured out how to remove the drain plug from my oil pan......and I was too embarrassed to explain that I was sucking the old oil from the dip stick tube with a crazy straw.
it is a big problem with people no ending posts, particularly on this site. you can read pages of posts and still not find an answer they just end.
this problem used to be blamed on DM for telling people to call him and the post would end, but DM hasn't posted in a long while now.
Im sure it would make life easier on the one mod left if people would end their posts,
then he could close the post and people will not be responding to a 5 year old post. they would be forced to start their own, they could still read the old ones you just would not be able to add to them..

I've got a special piece of kit for that and also used for draining out other oils.
