Why I now buy brakes from England:
Because a complete brake rebuild kit from local parts stores like Autozone are more expensive than the cost for a Genuine brake rebuild kit shipped from England to my door. Genuine parts also appear to retail for less in the UK than in the US. Factor in the state of the UK pond and the savings quickly add up vs buying from domestic suppliers. Same is true for professionally re-manufactured top hat lined engines.

let us know what shipping ends up being, interested in this as an option for the future.

I've ordered from them and would recommend.
Unfortunately for people like lucky8 it is incomprehensibly cheaper to ship parts across the Atlantic Ocean to Toronto than it is from Buffalo four hours away. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And thanks to brexit the exchange rate is good to.
Also lrdirect and paddock spares.

As soon as you cross the border, double the cost.

Default Update on my order: shipping

I placed my order with John Craddock for the genuine brake rotors and pads on Friday March 31, and paid £172.83. On Tuesday April 4th I was informed that the rear gen pads were out of stock and being specially ordered. Friday April 7th I was charged an additional £80.00 (Converted to USD = $100) for shipping and my order was shipped out via FedEx International Priority. Expected delivery date is Monday April 10th.

So I spent £252.83 (Converted to USD = $313.39 for everything shipped from the UK. Same part numbers shipped from Atlantic British to my door would cost $389 shipped before %10 discount. The combined weight of the order is 82.89 lbs. I will post a follow up when I receive the order.

Default Update: Shipment Received 4/10/17

No complaints. Fast shipping despite the fact that the rear pads had to be specially ordered. Installation was a breeze. Finally decided to do away with the rotor screws and half a can of Pepsi...

Grand total shipped from England to New Hampshire:
$222.89 after exchange rate! The same part numbers shipped from Atlantic British totals $385.95. Same part numbers shipped from Rovers North totals $610.90 + shipping.

So they screwed you on the genuine rotors? Those look like britpart rotor boxes to me.

Supposidly the rear rotors I originally ordered were not genuine despite having same part number as discussed above. I was not informed what make the rear rotors were until I received the packages. Looks like britpart.

2) Building that same kit @ Lucky 8 is $241/shipped. So, good job losing people money by telling them to shop in the UK.

You were warned... You paid $72 more than you would have from Lucky8 for the same parts, and Lucky8 lost a sale to an overseas company that doesn't support the US Land Rover enthusiast community.
