That's nuts. It's amazing how much power they are able to get out of engines. I remember the 1.5 liter turbo V6 Honda Formula 1 engine from 1986 that was putting out 1,300+ hp. They only needed 80 psi of boost! The engines would be done after 2 or 3 laps of qualifying. For the races, they were still putting out 1,000 hp at something like 12,000 rpm. I can't believe they could stay together.
