Default I gotta get rid of one of the two rigs...

The D1 is the first vehicle I owned. It's customized with a lift, diamond plate floor and a few other bits. It looks like hell but can be put back in shape. It leaks, rusts, needs more work and maybe the killer....new headgaskets. It does not get hot.

The D2 is my wifes and needs a bunch of stuff too. It's "champagne", has no mods needs a new front bumper and maybe the killer...new headgaskets. It doesn't get hot but needs to be topped off occasionally.

We need at least one nice vehicle that isn't a wreck, is reliable and looks ok/good....so I'll probably get something new and not landrover. Prices are just not worth it here in PR.

So I'll probably have to sell/junk/trade in one of the trucks. Really I like the D1 better. She's got about 35K more miles but she's my baby. On the other hand I'm seriously interested in one of these RHD Defenders....which is more or less the samething...only cooler.

So, maybe I get rid of the D1, finish fixing the D2, get the new car/truck and wait for the right Defender.

Just ramblin.....

Kinda a modest market there on that island. Maybe you should throw in free shipping.....

Spend some time on the D2. Maybe that coolant leak is no where near the head gaskets. Plenty of other places for a leak to show up (break out the borrowed pressure tester). Or pour in the KSeal.

D1 will appeal to a rugged individualist. Not some one looking for a second vehicle for SWMBO errands. Maybe a surveyor.

OOOOh. Rugged individualist. I guess I gotta keep that one. Until I get a Defender in which case I can be an even more rugged individualist.

But, I'll probably park it and try not to use it as a parts truck for the D2...(window regulators and motors, springs, shocks and tires maybe), water pump...anything else?)

Main thing is to fix the D2 tho, yur right. Maybe kseal it although i'd hate to gunk up a new rad. New bushings all around, new front bumper and headliner/sunroof fix. Altho I already have all the headgasket parts so maybe I should just go for it.
