Default Key Fob Replacement

Bought a "New to Me" 99 Range Rover recently and noticed that the Key Fob's are broken (tried new batteries and red light won't activate). Took a trip to the dealer and was quoted $400 for a replacement key/fob. Might be the price to play the game, but was wondering if anyone knows of any economical options. (Also have a security system glitch that won't allow the engine to start without unlocking with the key fob).

should be able to get a replacement off ebay, but it has to be programmed by the dealer, I think. You will get more reponses if you post in the Range Rovers section.

I think it's still part of the warranty... so get it back to the dealer
