I've noticed that every night when I clear the browsing and cache data on my computer that it rarely clears all the cookies and that usually takes 2-3 repetitions to fully clear them. It's usually the Google sites which generates these cookies and they often remain unless you repeat the browsing clearance 2-3 times. That never seems to happen with MS which clears OK on exit.

 

Don't use google anymore, bing for me.

Hi number9, I use the Google or MS Explorer browsers but I'm not registered with Google, and never will be, as I only use them for speed etc. MS never appears to be an issue but Google infiltrates whenever.

 

I use Edge

 

Try using Ccleaner, very good at clearing such data, also customizeable. Free too.

That same company: Piriform also offers some simple monitoring tools for hardware and a good defragging tool.
