Default Wiring Harness

Can anyone help me with an engine wiring harness for a 1998 Discovery 300TDI.
I replaced a fuse for the AC unit and the wiring zapped instead of the fuse failing?????

Regards
Reg

In my signature there are two links to the RAVE shop manual set. One you download the whole thing, once and for all. The other you can see on line, a bit slower that having your own copy. You are looking for the electrical troubleshooting manual. Also sounds like skinned wire (ground) somewhere, may have to shake the harness. Which fuse, and was it for blower, electric radiator fans, or compressor?

Sample page attached, there is a color code at the start of the material, so a "NG" wire is browN Green, etc. When you see something that says NAS, that's North American Spec and yours may be different.

Thank you Savannah Buzz,
The compressor was the culprit, and it has burnt out the entire engine bay wiring harness.
I need to find a new one.

Thanks again

Being you are somewhat distant from sources of supply, you might consider reworking the toasted harness, one wire at a time. A roll of wire, with a pad of sticky labels that electricians use to number things. One wire at a time, with a couple of boxes of connectors, a pair of strippers, crimpers, and some cable ties. Try to keep published color at each end, even if only a few inches long.
