Has anyone experienced this before? I have a 2017 Range Rover evoque, I’ve had it 2.5 years. Last year in the summer while at a driver thru I noticed my cars temperature rising as I held
my foot on the break, then as soon as I began driving again, it went back to normal. Come December 2025, I was driving in the rain when I noticed steam coming from under the front hood of my car. Then once I stopped driving I could smell the coolant. I took it to my mechanic and he stated it was a bad heater hose so he replaced the whole thing. That seemed to have done the trick for 5 months until today I drove a 2hour distance and on my way back the car told
me coolant was low and then I saw the steam again and smelled coolant once more again when I was on the break for a long time. After arriving home popped
the hood and my coolant tank was completely empty not too mention coolant was sprayed all over the engine and components. No visible ground leaks when I put in 3/4 of a bottle of coolant I keep in my car and the heater house appears to still be intact. I have no clues what this issue would or could be. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
