Land Rover Run around - Front Parking Aid
HELP! I am the owner of a 2017 Range Rover Evoque Premium SE. I took my car into the dealership to find out why the front parking aid would not automatically come on when getting close to an object. I have to manually turn the feature on every time I slow down below 10mph. I am aware that in the settings there is an option to automatically turn on this feature. That feature is missing from my Evoque.
The dealer tells me that the car is working the way it is supposed to and that the front parking aid sensor, even though I have them, did not come with the "option" to have it automatically turn on. This sounds like baloney to me. They kept the car for over 30 days trying to fix it and even offered to swap out the car under the "lemon law" but then suddenly reversed their position when HQ for Land Rover said the vehicle wasn't built with that "option".
The invoice/build sheet states under Standard Equipment - Front and Rear parking aid.
Anyone else have this problem?
