That sounds high to me, granted these vehicles are expensive to repair that's still more than I would have expected. Are you taking it to an independent shop or is that the Dealer quote?

 

Thanks so much for the response. An independent shop gave me a price of $4,600 plus tax for replacing the compressor and condenser and my local Land Rover dealer said $4,200 for just replacing the compressor. I'm in NY, on Long Island, so everything is expensive, but still it seemed high to me too.

 

We love ours. The extra space of the 130 is necessary on long trips with a dog and cat. Our 60lb mixed pup has no problem jumping in back. And it’s been great off-roading in the mountains.
