Default Oil leaking

I have a 2003 Range Rover HSE and it appears to have oil spewing out of the seam of the alternator I find it kind of strange that this could occur and I’m not sure how to handle this. Any suggestions, thx.

Are you sure its oil? The alternator is water (coolant) cooled and is encased in a coolant jacket. No oil runs to the alternator, so if it is indeed oil, its coming from another location.
