Question Are these subject to rust? Yea, dumb question.

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, I'm in the market for an '08 or '09 Range Rover Supercharged (L322). I live by San Jose, CA and have been used to finding nice rust free cars throughout my life. But, the selection of this car isn't as great as I would like so I've had to widen my search. I'm mostly looking at cars on the west coast and south west states.

If I widen my search to the east coast or even places like OH, MI, WI, etc. will rust be a big issue for these? Yea, it's a British car so one one hand it's a dumb question. But, it is possible they got better!

So, what are your opinions on this? Should I stick to the hot & dry states or consider cars from places that traditionally have lots of rust?

Thanks in advance!
Larry.
