I have this problem too.

Question about "over the air" updates. Do those install automatically? Or do I need to initiate the update?

Hoping this gets fixed in a couple of weeks as they've said.

Hi.. mine just said there is an update so you want to download and install?

Hopefully we have an update soon

Came across this thread. Been having this issue since before summer. I saw above there was an expected fix around mid-October? Anyone know if the update is out yet or coming soon? I haven't driven my Range Rover recently opting instead for my Volvo because this issue is really annoying. My volvo costs 1/3 the price and yet everything works much more smoothly. I don't get it.

hi there, I was wondering the same thing tonight. I haven’t seen anything come out yet. Hopefully soon… ugh

Today I picked up my RR p400e from doing the 3-year review and they told me that they still do not have any update to solve the carplay problem and that they do not have new information from land rover.
¡ This company's a disaster !. They are able to present a new one. Range but they are not able to solve a problem to hundreds / thousands of practically new vehicles
I live in Spain ,Barcelona

The dealer told me yesterday that every range rover they come across has this issue but there is no fix yet 🤯

Unfortunately it was only "expected' by October. not promised. But it's pretty bad all the same.

My god, with the release of the new Range Rover, it feels like the Land Rover has forgotten that they have the old generation as well. I've been watching this topic for half a year now, in the hope that they will finally fix this bug. there are already even tips from people in this thread on how to get around it using the radio. is it really so difficult to devote 30 minutes to fix this bug and release an update to your customers. I'm shocked.
