I didn’t call the dealer but the OTA update was available two days ago. It’s a small update around 13MB, but it took a long time to install.

Did not have to call any dealer. Just checked for updates today and it was there. Will let you know if I am still having any issues.

 

I got the update last week (SOTA update) and it did fix the Carplay issue, but what I am noticing now is that if I play tunes from Spotify or Apple music using bluetooth connected to my Iphone the entertainment system chooses occasionally to just turn off the bluetooth and switch itself to FM radio. The truth is the infotainment system for these Range Rovers is really substandard considering the amount of $$$ we pay for these supposedly prestigious vehicles.

 

Since CarPlay works reliably I'm not using bluetooth with my phone at all...
