I finally got my 2025 back from the dealership after two weeks of repair. What a disaster!
I picked up my LWB P400 3 weeks ago and at 100 miles on the odometer, the air suspension failed! After starting the car the rear suspension raised from access height, but the front suspension did not lift.
Car needed to be towed to the dealership. After 2 days of “diagnosing” the dealership finally determined that the front passenger air strut was leaking. They ordered a new one and 4 days later it was installed. As they were about to close everything up, they determined that the front driver’s air strut was also faulty and they needed to order yet another air strut! A week later, I finally got my car back.
Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed and shocked that a brand new car with only 100 miles had not one, but two faulty air struts. The dealer claims that the air struts were not seated properly at the factory, which caused the leaks.
Have any of you had a similar situation?
I have had the car back now for about four days, and everything seems fine, but I’m still disappointed that the dealership had the car for two weeks, which was more than four times longer than I even had the car when I first brought it home.
Outside of this major problem, I really do love the new Range Rover. This is my fifth Range Rover, and I have to say I am very impressed with the updates in the new L460.
Glad to hear your issue got fixed. I understand your frustration with this happening so soon. I have not personally experienced any issues with my P550e, but with the technology on today's cars, anything is possible with all car brands. Just read about the catastrophic engine failures with Toyota and Lexus. Enjoy your new Rover, it is an amazing vehicle!
Here’s an update… The air struts seem to be holding air just fine, however, now there’s a new problem as we are hearing a clunking noise coming from the suspension. Every time you make a short turn with the wheel, there’s a low thud that could be heard coming from the suspension, mostly in the front of the car.
Looks like the car has to go back to service once again! 🤦🏻♂️

Man that's some bad luck. I took delivery of mine (P530 LWB 7-Seater) in Aug/2025 and so far flawless 340 miles driven. Hopefully everything has been solved for you. Did you ask for a Defender V8 as a loaner for those 2 weeks? That'd be only fair.
