Default 2000 p38 Overheating ( Coolant bubbling or boiling in reservoir tank)

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to this so this is a question that may have been talked about already. I just acquired AP 30/08/2000 Range Rover. After a month of driving it I got a gears Box overheat sigh and then the whole truck just started overheating and it seems though the cooling is boiling or bubbling up in a reservoir tank. Can you guys please how direct me to what to do? Thanks.

i'm new to P38s, as well. in fact, just picked up a 2000 also.

check to see if anything is blocking air flow to the radiator and trans fluid cooler.
check to see if the fan clutch freewheels or has some resistance when the engine is warm. only check this with the engine off.

check your coolant level when the engine is cold. top off as needed.

these are the easy things to do first. after that it gets slightly more interesting.
