Default 4.6 engine

I have a d2 with the 4.6 and am well aware of the engine issues. I was wondering if they are as common with the p38 engine. Thanks

Generally yes, but the block castings are better. But overheat will:
  • Still warp heads,
  • Massive or prolonged overheat can cause liner slip
  • The block can still crack - although that is far less "common"
