Got a side quest tackled while I was working on the sunroof, sunroof drains and headliner. The water from the clogged sunroof drain was running down into the spare tire well. So cleaned it fixed the leak wire brush treat and hobo freight bedliner to close it out.

Done and looking pretty good. Now I’m waiting on the fuel pump parts to show up. I may have found some tires for it by Atlanta and since I have to go there for a state guard mission on Thursday I’ll probably take the wheels with me and try to knock out two birds with one stone..

Ok we got it out on the road

Need To start researching how to put a radio in it, fix the AC and cruise control

@Harvlr do you know if the cruise control has any diagnostics that can be accessed if I pic up the RSW software?

I don’t think it does, but it’s been about 5 years since I opened my RSW up (since I got the Nanocom).
Im pretty sure the most common Cruise Control failure cause is leaking vacuum hoses.

I fixed an obvious leak over at the bellows do you know where the line that disappears into the firewall ends up?

Got it going in tomorrow for a wheel alignment then I can put some good tires on it. To see if I still have the vibration. My gut is telling me the vibe is a rear u-joint though.

So on the plus side, the wipers work, and the sunroof doesn’t leak. The blower motor situation and defrost though are garbage 🤣

With driving it for the last couple days I have a few issues that I need to figure out.

1. Right front turn signal was missing the socket, grabbed a spare and popped a fresh bulb in it. The light stays on even after the truck is off lights are off and its been 5 minutes.

2. Can’t seem to get the trip odometer to display

3. Right Blower motor is dead

4. AC inop, has the book and ! Displayed on the climate control unit. Only code I have is a 33. AC compressor will randomly cycle for 1-2 seconds Pressures look good.

5. Cruise Control

6. Radio, have what appears to be a good clarion unit but I haven’t been able to get a code for it. Have an Old School aftgermarket Alpine CD Player unit to install if I can get my hands on the wiring diagram for the factory harness.

7. Need to do a transmission service and replace the pan. Looks like it lost a front driveshaft and the pan got its butt beat like a red headed stepchild

8. Transfer case in neutral message appears but the truck drives fine and shifts between high and low range
