While replacing the cooling system pipes, I ran into something interesting. There is a green 'O' ring located in the intake manifold, where the throttle body bolts on. I ordered a new gasket for this connection from Atlantic British. What came is a flat metal one with rubber coating as shown below.
My question is this. Does the new one completely replace the old 'O' ring, or are we supposed to run both?
In calling Atlantic British, I'm told they do not offer the 'O' ring any longer I have found some on FleaBay..
