I'm asking for help solving a problem that's come up while changing the D2S bulbs on my 2008 RR Sport.

After installing the new bulbs, I'm not able to lock down the igniters. When I attempt to turn it to lock them, it seems like they're possibly catching on the two pins on the bulb housing.

I even put the old bulbs back in and still could not close the ingiters.

Both the new and old bulbs appear to be seated correctly, which has me wondering why this is happening.

Hoping someone can help so I can get everything back in place ASAP.

 

I got both lights seated and working......but.......now I'm getting the flashing adaptive headlight error light on the dash.
Pulled the code, pulled fuse #61, but the light is not going away.
At least I have headlights. Didn't know I have adaptive lights until now.
