Default How to OPEN the Sliding type of Seal Door Jamb Rubber Grommets found in the L494?

How to open and get through the Front Door Jamb Sealed Rubber-

Grommets to the Engine bay?

Any pictures or videos would be greatly appreciated.

As you can see from picture number 2, I tried to Lift a slider, but I have no idea what to do next. I don’t want to mess it up. Does anyone has a picture? or video? I’ll have to wait until I know how to open it and seal it afterward because I might create water leaks into the wiring when it rains, if I don’t know how to seal it back.

Thank you.

I went online to a used parts store and I found the Door Jamb Rubber Grommet. It seems there isn’t much space to run Speaker and Camera Wires through the Grommet Connector.

I still need to understand how to disconnect the Grommet connector shown in the picture. There is this slider, which I pull up just a bit in the previous picture of days ago. I think I should pull the slider up further.

I fear that if I’m wrong I will be causing water leaks when it rains.

If you have done similar work through a similar grommet. Is there a way to run Speaker Wire, and/or DashCam wires through the Grommet?
