Does anyone know when Landrover intends to release an update to InControl to fix the current issues with carplay with the apple ios? Seems the iphone update in 2021 June/July was the culprit. I have 2 dealers in the Phoenix area confirm they are aware of it but aren't indicating any dates for a fix. The one in North phoenix went as far to say they are selling the 2020's and the 1st issue

people complain about at the time of purchase is how its broken, the joke being a 100k car with broken carplay for maps. This is my 1st range rover, so I'm not sure if their software team just normally lags a year to ios upgrades or not.

Issue:
Any map I use via cabled carplay, doesn't have any audio. Other services appear to be fine, i.e. spotify plays music, phone calls work.

  • Update Click: When I click update it just shows a never ending image reflecting the system is thinking. The vehicle times out and powers off before anything comes of it.

• 19-July-2021 was the primary release of 14.7 where I noticed the issues, unfortunately I don't have a way to revert back to an earlier ios.

Why do I see some peoples software screen actually say InControl where miine says Infotainment?
