Exclamation Jolting when changing gears + Coolant Issues

Hi all!

Just wanted to drop a quick post to see if anyone could help me narrow down some issues I have been having recently. Here are the symptoms:
  1. The car seems to jolt randomly when it switches gears.
    1. Sometimes this is very noticeable while other times it is a more gentle jolt.
    2. Issue seems to happen more often at lower speeds especially when taking off 1 -> 2 gear.
    3. Issue also seems to only happen in comfort automatic mode. Manual does not present this issue. Sport mode I am not 100% certain as of yet but definitely less noticeable then in comfort mode.
  2. I keep receiving coolant level low messages.
    1. These come on randomly stay on for a few seconds then go away. Can happen even multiple times a journey.
    2. Last time at the shop they said my coolant was slightly low and topped it up but no one flagged anything as a major issue.
  3. The car shudders at idle while stationary in park.
    1. This is not extremely aggressive however it is definitely more noticeable than a few months ago.
I have read some similar threads from different models but if anyone has any opinions on what this could be would be much appreciated! Thanks!

1- get a trans service done, you might have a leak.

2- you either have a coolant level sensor issue (if so change out the whole tank with sensor) or you have a leak. If it’s a leak a pressure test will find it. If it’s hard to find I would use a mirror and check the rear crossover pipe at the back of the heads.

3- bad motor mounts can cause this but I find it’s worse in drive with brake on, not in park. Are you sure it’s not a surging idle?
