Driver's seat removal (2020)
Hi folks!
I just picked up a CPO 2020 Velar, and I love everything about it except for the aggressive bolstering in the R-Dynamic seats. I'm a cyclist so I have big legs, and I just can't get along with the side bolsters - it always feels as though I'm sitting on my wallet. I didn't really notice it in the test drive but after having the car for a few days it's something I need to address.
I have a local auto interior shop that can re-work them for me, and I'd like to pull the seat myself so that I can bring it in. I took a cursory peek under it and I see 4 reverse torx bolts and a few random clips. Has anyone pulled the seats before, and if so are there any pitfalls that I should be aware of? I'm a pretty handy guy and should be good to go with the various clips for the heat/cooling/etc, but since I have a couple of weeks before they can get me in I thought it might be a good idea to check and see what I'm in for in terms of pulling the seat itself.
Cheers!
