Default Fan turns on after Engine off

I just purchased my Velar 2.0 250HSE, and noticed Fan turns on after engine off like a plane fan for 1-2 max and than turns off slowly. Is this normal behavior?

Many vehicles will run the cooling fans to continue to drop the coolant temp for a short time after the vehicle is shut off. A few have electric coolant pumps to continue to circulate the coolant as well to reduce heat soak.

need to get the temp up to a certain point for that to engage. Looking at the temps where you are at, if you are in traffic it will likely warm it up enough to trip that feature

I just found out today that there was a recall on the Velar fan on excessive noise, might want to check it out at your local Land Rover
