Well is this going to be an OCD discussion or what.

Sad truth is it is a shame how much one can tie up in trying to maintain one of these.
And how little of that you can recover when you choose to try to sell it.

Worrying about the finish on fender flares and things like the luggage rack are ridiculous on a 12 year old vehicle.

To truly evaluae it, you need to look under the carpets and rear pad to see what the floors look like and things that truly matter.

Since this vehicle has rather limited appeal to me, I will drop off this thread, good luck with your sell.

D, not disputing, just think there are a lot of discos on here that are well kept. I also think that for one to participate in this forum exemplifies the members' persuit of perfection regarding their own disco. just sayin

Where is this magical vehicle located? I'm in Northern Michigan and in the market.

Default Another look

OK! I took another look at the top of the thread and now know where the truck is located. My next question: is it still available?

Hey Steve, sorry for the delay:

My neighbor's car broke down, and he's had my 2004 Disco for a couple weeks. I had a long trip in DC for business, and had to leave the 2000 at the airport.

I'll be back today- it's still available, I haven't posted to AutoTrader yet.

Steve, I owe you a BIG apology. I'm really sorry for the delay on this. If you end up wanting it, I'll give you a decent "took me a month to get it ready" discount.

I've got the 2000 and the 2004 at my Mechanic's right now, having the wheels swapped. As soon as they get back, it'll be ready. I'll PM you my address and phone number. I seem to remember you being up in Traverse City. Let me know if you want to meet, we could go for a road trip. Of course, if you wanted the old gal, we'd have to come back up with both vehicles the next day or something so I could get home.

Thanks for being patient, man!

Pat
