(Blown headgasket) 2001 land rover disco II, 130k miles
I am posting this mechanic's special if any of you are interested. I am no longer a Land Rover enthusiast! This is not a spam post, but I did have some trouble with photo's so you can view my posting on craigslist. I did not leave a phone # due to the amount of low ballers I will have calling me. If you are a member of this forum just let me know that you found my posting here on the land rover forum's & I will cut you a little better deal knowing she's going to a good home! I live in southeastern Indiana. It is posted in Indianapolis,Cincinnati, Lexington, & Louisville.

What are you looking to get for it? You say you'd rather take it to the junkyard for $500, but unless you part it out you probably won't get much more than that.

Interested parties should review this thread about the leak.

A container of Kseal may make it drivable for a period of time.

Savannah buzz nice call on the post link! I don't really want to kseal & try to drive it nor do I have any intention of trying to mislead anyone by covering anything up on craigslist or this site so I'm glad that was posted.

**UPDATE** I have been bombarded with craigslist low ball offer’s mostly coming in @ around the $900-$1250range but I have one offer for $1,400. I told the other people interested I really don’t want to start a “you pull & save” in my back yard. However if I have to….. I can yank the tranny, rear end, rims, tires, all with very little effort & then junk it & probably come in @ just under $1,500 & never have to mess with turn signals, thermostats, & taking off a bunch of small part’s. If any of you guys want this vehicle whole, as soon as I get a $1,500-$1,900 offer she’s going down the road if one of you guys want her! It’s a better vehicle to fix than to part out & junk so if you reply to my craigslist ad just tell me you found it on this forum.

I was not suggesting you were being anything less than up front with everyone. The background info gives people all the more reason to buy it, not a long history of overheating on the daily drives, etc. I suspct use of KSeal would not greatly diminish the value at this point.
