Wow that is crazy! I don't think I have ever seen a D1 that clean! I wonder though about a couple of things. A) Notice the the clock doesn't show the entire time. It says 6:0 instead of 6:00. That clock has a bulb in it behind it, if it only has 28k why would a clock be broken? Not only that, but the tires recently got replaced? Why? I could see dry rot... Maybe... hmmm... Its so clean though! I like how they had the detailer guy put the back to black stuff on it, especially where it shows underneath. LMAO

not even close - best deal ever was RoxieMoxie's find of her first car, a D2, with 117 miles, garage kept by eccentric owner, for $2000. OEM gas....

That D1 is missing the "pollen filter", but certainly mine will never look this good, even if I bought everything on the wax aisle at the parts store and spent two weeks on it.

Humm....something looks fishy.....

My grandmothers Audi had about the same amount of miles when she passes away, which looked like it just drove off the showroom.

This D1 looks to have been used more than the miles exhibit on that dash.... Or this was driven only a few miles a day, every day. If all the fluids where changed on a regular schedule and maintained correctly....that engine compartment should be immaculate.

Looks to me like the odo has been manually rolled back...notice how the 2 just isnt quite lined up. When I sell my dash clusters I am always willing to set the mileage to match the existing on my customers rig, and thats what they all look like (just a little off kilter) until it rolls to the next # and lines up right. BUT....who give a crap if the miles are accurate, it is a $9000+ stock D1......this guy is on crack....or at least some mood altering, reality spinning, cocktail!

Buzz, I've heard you mention this before. Any links to the original Posts? Or is it just heresy? Haha
