Hey guys, I am in need of a front drive shaft. My u joint has "gone bad" per auto mechanic. Says I need to replace the whole driveshaft.

If anyone has any input, let me know. I am carless and don't have the money for a brand new Drive shaft.

A pre-owned D2 shaft is subject to the same failure from un-greased joints, so if you go this route, pay to have new greasable U joints installed. You are lucky yours did not split and poke hole in transmission.
