Sad deal indeed, and couldn't agree more that hindsight is 20/20.

...but man if my brakes go out and my throttle is stuck, the first thing I'm NOT going to do is grab my cell phone and call 911, come on.

 

Yeah very sad, but so many people think they need these cell phones stuck to there heads and cant live without them it was his first reaction. Drivers education needs to be more strict and provide better skills to new drivers and more split second scenarios.
