Redid the power cables going to the rear of the truck, added a better fuse block, added a switch for the fridge. Busy day

Well I brought my new to me 00 d11 home and realized the unlock button on the fob didn't work. And the PO had glued the loop back in. So with the help of an old MP3 player I soldered in a newish switch and used a key ring to make a new loop

Nice! My fob is glued at the loop too. How did you fit the keyring in?

Tiny drill bit. Cut the ring so it just fit inside the housing with the ends bent up. Had to be careful not let it get in the way of the circuit board

As a once-upon-a-time farm boy I appreciate field repairs (https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-repair-67091/) but new keyless entry key shells are available on eBay for less than $2, including shipping. For not much more you can get one with a new key blade too. Just search eBay for "Discovery key."
