I had to have 2 fuel injectors replaced under warranty but it felt exactly like you all describe.
Can you explain exactly how yours was behaving with bad injectors?
I replaced my PCV again and it actually got much worse. I'm wondering if my issue could be fuel injectors or who knows what. The first time I replaced the PCV, it was instantly fixed. But the issue is back ~14k miles later. It seems there is a newer part number than the PCV I received. I'm going to try the latest version I can find. If that doesn't work, it's onto a different brand. I've had enough.... My last three rovers have all been nightmares.
Update on misfires. PCV and spark plugs fixed it the first time (an LR mechanic recommended I change those two things). PCV made it worse this time or more than likely it was just getting worse and changing it made no difference. Next I replaced the spark plugs. The latest part number is a Bosch plug instead of NGK. New plugs made no difference - still had misfires.
Hopeful that it wasn't injectors I ordered four ignition coils. Without any codes indicating which cylinder(s) was affected, I just replaced all four. That seems to have fixed it. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue for 100 or so miles.
Average monthly maintenance cost over 15 months (excluding regular oil changes and my labor): $256.

Sorry I have been away but it almost felt like it was misfiring and it was struggling to get going. I didn’t have any error codes but the app told me it was a gas delivery issue. Mine were replaced under warranty.
Keeping it going - recently passed 150k miles on our 2021 P300, running strong. Went through another auxiliary radiator about 20k miles ago (that's number 3), another seam failure. Starting to get some notable wear on the neoprene trim.
Continuing to service it regularly - oil changes no more than 7k miles apart, trans and diff fluid changes at manufacturer recommended intervals, spark plug changes, etc.
Still towing and taking it off road regularly - recent shot with some buddies in Death Valley.
Hi everyone
I have a L663 3.0 D200 and is showing engine wear at 93000 miles .The rubbers around the pistons are failing and the oil gets diluted , it shows steam coming out of the dip stick hole.
It drives fine , and I change the oil every 5 k
I am considering rebuilding the engine at a cost of 12k , but I was advised not to by a few mechanics etc.
However , I love the car
Could you please help with some input ? Is it worth it ? What other items are prone to fail after this mileage and at what cost ?
I did not. I checked all the bushings as best I could and they seemed okay. I had my local dealer look it over when I went in for a recall. They found that a few bolts from the front skid plate were missing. They replaced the missing bolts and the noises went away. They said they have seen this before and the tech said thats what it sounded like him when I first demonstrated the noise.
That’s actually on point. Last year I had a rattle that I thought was a sway bar or some suspension component, and when I tightened the front (large metal) skid plate under the engine, the noises went away.

Anyone over 150k miles?
Mine is a 2020 p400 SE. I’m sitting at 135k today with a couple of repairs - one major (fixed under warranty) and one somewhat minor but not cheap. Everything else has just been oil / filter changes and the standard maintenance.
Somewhere before 50k miles, the front differential self destructed. That cost me about 4 months at the dealer while they waited for post covid parts availability. Nothing out of pocket just time with a loaner.
Recently I had a major coolant leak. I’m past warranty so I had to pay out of pocket for that repair.
Im not a mechanic and I’m not doing anything special but it all seems to run and work well. Interior is holding up - but as someone else noted - the neoprene is starting to show some discoloration. I’ve had the rear “clunk” for as long as I can remember.
I’m wondering just how many miles I can reasonably expect to run. I guess I won’t know until it quits some day. I use it as my daily driver in TX. We have a cabin in CO, so we drive pretty regularly on long road trips. I do very minor fire trail / gravel roads and some pasture driving. And, we pretty regularly pull an airstream.
So far, it’s been great. I hope I can get to 250k without much drama.
