I have the same delivery date. No word on whether it will stick.

 

I have these exact same build/delivery dates with today being the last date of change to the build (locked date). Maybe this will be the final build/delivery dates for MY22? Hoping dates actually stick this time after ordering last March and 3 build/delivery date changes by JLR.

 

I would assume they are real otherwise they would have just converted to MY23.

I've any of you heard that MSRP is going to go up on Nov. 1?

 

My MY22 D90 S had a build date of 10/15. I got confirmation today that it had been built, and is waiting to be shipped. The estimated delivery on day of deposit was 12/3. Saleswoman didn't say anything about a delay in shipping, but I've already put it in my mind that there will be one, especially after seeing people with the same delivery date say they've gotten pushed ~5days later. Our communication was via text; I'll call her tomorrow and ask more pointed questions. She's been pretty communicative since meeting early September.

Found this in a Slovakian publication, maybe that is the "shutdown" referenced above??

Nitra-based carmaker Jaguar Land Rover will suspend production between October 11 and 15, due to a lack of components. People working in the affected departments will receive 80 percent of their average salary.

 

Maybe I'm not "in the loop" enough, but I keep hearing that Nitto has shut down, then Defenders ship, then I hear they shut down again, Defender ship, rinse & repeat. I never hear that they reopen, just that folks report getting their Defenders. Each time I applaud their success. Not saying this isn't true/false, just from my perspective - I've heard this before. If you are waiting on a build, I wish you luck, patience, and don't get too anxious on this latest "shut down" until it proves out for a while.

 

Just call and ask. They were surprisingly candid over a few calls during last big shutdown.

Only once did the lady ask why. I told her I was fact-checking a media story.

Amg, did you get an update yet? I was at the dealer yesterday working through my trade-in and they got a decent amount of new vehicles in.

 

efear...negative. I was told on Monday the 18th there is no change showing. Did they have any defenders in?

 

Damn, I'm surprised no updates. I at least got new dates every time my build got extended. The new ones were all still in the way back with all the shipping stickers and such on them, I think there was 1 or 2 defenders in the back and they did have a few up front but not sure if they are spoken for or not.
