Finally, almost 1 year from order to delivery this might actually be happening?! Hopeful, yet after 3 changes and a delete, skeptical. 😉

we have the same dates but my delivery date is 2/4/22? I wonder why the difference? Sending good vibes that yours keeps!

IDK, maybe "delivery date" is based on location of the dealership from port? As of three days ago, my MY22 status with a build date of 11/19/21 showed a delivery date of 1/14/22 (previous was 1/7/22). Hopefully my status is now "committed" instead of "order confirmed" and changed back to the orriginal date of 1/7/22. Will call and pester my sales mng tomorrow. I SO wish JLR had some sort of customer portal for us to track like other manufacturers do. I'm sure sales ppl definitely do! Prior to COVID it wasn't a big deal but now that everyone is ordering it's got to be a pita for them, too. I hear that JLR floor plan, even after covid/supply chain issues get better, will be less inventory on hand and moving towards making ordering their new model.

It may have to do with delivery port. I live in Boston which makes my delivery port Baltimore. My build is also a V8 Carpathian Edition which may change things. I only have 1 port-installed option to be added (vs multiple). Again fingers crossed for us all.

I ordered May 17th with a delivery date of 11/12. Got an email from my SA yesterday that the new delivery date is 11/5, so thats exciting. The only problem is that I'm literally flying to Vegas for the weekend of Nov 6th. Any chance they could sell it out from under me?

My Defender 110 is on the ship TULANE and was supposed to have an 11/22 delivery but my sales rep at my local dealership just emailed and said it's now coming on 11/12 and he'll email me early in November with details.

Stoked!

Ok finally got my Vin and build date was Oct 19. Confused as it says accepted delivery of 12/3 and then delivery of 12/31. So I will just see and hope for a December delivery. No vessel assigned yet. Going to port heuneme. Seems I got everything such as IDD, HUD, clearsight, 11 inch screen, air suspension, etc.

It doesn’t surprise me to hear that story, and that was before all this supply chain mess. It is absolutely a sellers market and buyers have zero leverage. The new vehicle is not “mine” while it’s on order, being built, shipped, or even sitting on the dealership lot. It is “mine” when I sign the paperwork and drive it off the lot.

Yeah, not thrilled about that possibility. I guess the only good thing is as long as they don't sell it the Friday or Saturday that it shows up, they are closed Sunday and Monday.
