That’s a June build date. I made the deposit a few weeks ago, so I guess you could say “May order for August delivery”.

I finalized my order for a 2022 D110 XS today. I have a September delivery date, but that could obviously change considering the chip shortage. I've been really, really excited about the new defender since the concept renderings were released way back in 2017, so this has been a long time coming! My dealer was able to track down a roof rack, a ladder, and the classic mud flaps for me as well, which was a nice bonus.

I'm planning on keeping the truck at stock height, and swapping the stock tires for Nitto Terra Grapplers (275/55/20) with 25mm spacers all around. I'd also like to get my hands on the Matzker rock sliders, but that seems like it'll be a stretch. I was thinking about possibly adding wheel arch protection, but that might look funky on the XS.

Here's a link to my build - https://build.landrover/B1B1DBB2

We have an X5 M50i, it’s my wife’s DD. It’s quite an amazing car and fun to drive. We have the air suspension on ours, really plush and much softer than I thought it would be for an M50i; I find it softer than our Defender. Ours does fine at normal speeds, just as happy loafing around as it is when you lay into it. The dealer gave us a 40i as a loaner last summer, once you drive the M50i, it’s tough to go back to the 40i. Good luck with the decision!

I ordered a 90 X on Wednesday- Scheduled delivery 11/19. I was surprised since my SA indicated she thought the schedule was moving faster than that. Thought it might have been the larger screen I ordered.. but I guess not.

The other factor I didn't mention was that our 18 year old twins may have to drive it on occasion. Nothing good will come from letting a teen drive an M50i.

Looks like you're getting soon. Shipfix gives pretty updated location and for free.

Ordering update for anyone that cares... Received word today (5/14 Build Date) that my MY22 D110 SE was actually built yesterday (and yes, ordered the larger screen), along with my VIN and Engine number. VIN showing up on TOPIX, but can't find any detailed information. This forum's VIN Decoder shows more info actually. Delivery date to mid-south US of July 16th hasn't changed. I expect I'll check back with the dealer for a ship name in the next two weeks?

Great to see things moving along!

Haha, yeah that may not be a good idea. I often pickup a faint smell of burnt rubber in the garage after my wife gets home; at least she enjoys the car! I know I wouldn’t have trusted myself with an M50i when I was 18
