Yes, but without explaining you may have led someone who’s getting a first-port delivery to think it takes twice as long to cross the ocean as it actually does. Hence my gentle amplification.

And the question was, “How long for the ship to come across the pond?”, not “...and meander down the east coast of the US.”

Cheers.

But for those of us in the states, we wonder how the Defenders get from the Nitro plant to Southampton to board a ship and how long does it take to get from factory to port?

Well, that’s not really a “but” so much as an “and.” Complimentary bits of information, both necessary to determine your delivery if you know only that your truck just completed its build.

And I can’t answer the Nitra-to-Southampton question because when I checked on my build date to see if the truck was completed that day, it had already been in Southampton for 2 days, to my delight. But it sat there for 32 days before it caught a freighter to the New World.

Yeah, that waiting fire a ship is also an unknown. Maybe someone with importer / exporter experience could advise. Art Vandelay, are you listening?

Just got an email today telling me that my 110 that was supposed to be built 7/16 is now scheduled for 10/29 build date. Delivery for 12/24 rather than 9/26.

Disappointing, but what can you do?

Interesting to see that although you can no longer order an 11.4 touchscreen for the base P300 it is still in my build spec as I was able to order it before that rule changed. Let's see if it arrives that way (and it will cause consternation for service departments for the rest of the vehicles life if it does)

Anyone have any luck getting any discount off MSRP on the 90?
An unsold 2022 90 landed at a local dealer here in the Midwest and seems to be sitting. But it's about $8,000 more spec than I want or need--and the $ wife agreed to. It is the color combo we desire, so I could maybe have better luck talking her into it if something off MSRP was possible. Otherwise we're just going to order the cheaper spec.

My dealer gave me an update a few weeks ago saying my 110 was built 6/27 and waiting for transport out of Nitra. Anyone else have a late June build date headed to the midwest or east coast? Unfortunately, it's like pulling teeth to get my dealer to give me any updates on delivery. Last update was 8/10-8/20 delivery.

I have a base P300 with 11.4 screen, so I'll be curious if it shows up with that screen.

My dealer was telling me yesterday one of the problems with the larger screen is how the entire mount and interior crossbars are different for the larger screen vs smaller screen. So right now there are defenders built for larger screen with no screen available and since the mount is completely different they cannot put the smaller screen in it to finish build.

I would think if yours was built to 11.4" spec then it has that screen in it.

it's now an awesome Christmas gift! You'll have to steal one of those big red bows off a Lexus somewhere.

I supposedly had a 6/4 build for an X. It hasnt left Nitra as of last week. It's estimate of delivery was 8/27 and I'm about 20mi from Port Hueneme in CA. Hoping for a better explanation this week or I'll have to head to the dealership to talk to them in person.
