Does anyone with a build date around mid-July and delivery date of August or September to the USA have their shipping information? I have a VIN number but can’t seem to find the thread where someone detailed how to track shipment information.
When the vehicle is loaded onto a ship, that's when ship tracking can begin and that's when your salesperson can provide the ship tracking link. You will get a ship name and do various tracking - ports, dates, etc. Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean has the contract for Land Rover shipping transport and you can glean a lot of information from their website (Schedules).
Once you start the fun stuff of ship tracking, the free app Ship Info is very helpful and cool!
Have fun!
I'm just hours away from picking up mine! Wheeeee!!! :-)
I got word from my dealer yesterday that my 2022 110 V8 has been pushed to a 2023 MY - JLR has apparently pulled the V8 from the 2022 line-up for the US market. They won't have a delivery timeline for me until 'early 2022'. Bummer. . .
My 22 finally arrived the other day! Originally ordered back in December, converted to a 2022 on March 5th when the dealer finally got allocation. It arrived last friday, a few weeks ahead of schedule which was originally August 8th. Took them 2 days to get it prepped and cleaned up for me and picked it up on Tuesday. Loving it so far, already got a set of BFG KO2's ordered and have it booked in at the paint shop to black out the silver on the front/back bumper. Zero regrets ditching the bronco pre-order I had. Also the 11.4" screen is amazing, big improvement, not only physically bigger but the resolution/DPI seems much higher. It also seems a bit more responsive, but that might be in my head I haven't directly compared them.
Only frustration I've had so far is with the Auto Hold, it was driving me nuts. Makes it dangerous to maneuver in tight spaces as it was engaging literally every time the car came to a stop. Once I realized what was happening and figured out how to turn it off all is good. I have no idea why anyone would want this always enabled, as you can turn it on manually on demand by just pumping the brake pedal which is genius. I'm coming from an FJ which now feels ancient in comparison.

Well, if a V8 is the priority, most of the missing order options on an X5 50i are back including the upgraded sound systems. Delivery time is about 3 weeks after placing an order. It's a beast with Cayenne Turbo power for $95K. We tried to order an X5 40i but only the base radio is available on that model and clock radio sound in a $70K vehicle isn't for us. So now we have a second Defender on order.

I have a 110 V8 that at the port in Maryland. According to my dealer, it’s just waiting on a fix for the lights. Unfortunately he has no idea as to when that will happen.

You and I think alike! I built my X5 M50i today and am sending it to my dealer Monday. I’m keeping my deposit in on the Defender and am hopeful it may be here in a year.
