Revisiting this retrofit for 2023 models, does anyone know where to buy the (3) x rubber grommets (part # ?) and the appropriate wiring harnesses to plug and play?

The motor can be had by most US LR Dealers for ~$200 USD (vs. 400+ GBP on the retro fit "kits" from third parties).

 

Not only you need the motor, you also need a new lock for this retrofit.

I bought mine from Hunters Prestige and they also have a fitting video. Very handy. Soft close works perfectly.

I bought this kit from hunters prestige. I haven't had the opportunity to install yet. The truck was hit and is currently in the body shop. Once I get it back though Its top priority. Its only the rear tailgage though. I really want to do all the passenger doors. Though I'm not willing to do any splicing, that'd be a deal breaker. So hoping someone comes out with a retrofit soon.

 

Sir, can you share which MY Defenders (and trim levels if applicable) HAVE the soft-close feature? I am looking at several Certified Pre-Owned Defenders to include both 2021 and 2023 MYs. Thank you much
