From what I’ve read and seen, there are hundreds of brand batteries but in all reality it seems like there are only a few actual manufacturers.
I’ve had a Walmart AGM battery in my R53 mini for 5 years now with no problem and it sits sometimes for weeks on end, in our 2019 L405 autobiography for over a year, and now in my 2020 Defender p400 for almost a month now. Very happy with the cost, warranty and battery in general so far on all 3.
im sure you could replace the battery 3 times over for the price of an oem, but Walmart provides 4 year warranty and they are everywhere so it’s a no brainer for me, even if it goes during our travels, a Walmart is only so far away and it’s easy enough to replace, but it will give you signs like the low battery warning before it actually strands you.
Never even thought about buying a battery from Walmart but its actually great idea as they're everywhere.
My 911 is not moving for 3 weeks in my garage and battery is holding up ok. If I really didn't touch the car for a month, it will give me 'battery saving mode' alert when I try to drive then I charge it overnight. I never thought owning the go-anywhere-beast will give me this headache over a battery. I thought I'll be in the forum talking about fancy mods but so far, I bought a jump starter, another battery maintainer and talking about AMG batteries... while dealer to come and pick up my car for a battery replacement next week. haha.
Can anyone speak to a correlation between not locking the doors as a habit and getting a battery low warning display? I just replace the battery on my 2021 P400 and I still get an occasionally low battery warning. I was thinking perhaps without the doors locked, the car is doing something that is using power….where with the door locked the car is fully resting? searching for iPhone or something like that?

Generally speaking, locked will use less battery power. So I started locking my car when I parked inside of my garage (while all other cars are unlocked...) and another thing is make key outside of remote range. When keys are in remote range, it also draw battery power to be standby.
I kinda like seeing simple love of battery charging level and big easy to see screen. Nice and rugged design from NorCal's Tech guys.
If you buy their jump starter and maintainer, Amazon offer combo discount too
And.. question, does anyone know what size this bolt thing is? I'm trying to install the quick connector and I don't know what size nuts I need to buy...
