for this specific code I don't think you actually need IIDTool to clear them. Literally just holding the brake pedal down until calibration completes should do it. but if you want to flush the brake fluid completely you'd need it to put the system into service mode.

for me it says its a permanent code. I will try flushing the brake lines and then recalibrating like your post says but for me just holding the brake pedal down once the clicking and stops the warnings are still there

it'll take one or two drives for them to clear on their own after calibration is complete

hi, as Iceman said, you have to bleed the brakes and then try the automatic calibration.
however, if you let the oil and piston escape from the rear calipers, it could be a more serious situation, a lot of air in the system,
As mentioned, phase 1, putting the ABS ECU into service, (Gap or Pathfinder), you must put the system under pressure, (Bosch recommends 2 bar for this system), after having followed the bleeding in the correct sequence, since you have done out the rear piston, you may also need to bleed the rear brake epb, this is what the Pathfinder tool is for.

how did you resolve your issue? Same exact thing happened to me.

Did you try what I suggested fixed my problem a few replies above here? The defender goes into calibration mode for the BBW system when a leak is detected, you pretty much just have to hold the pedal down hard for a minute for it to re-calibrate.

yeah man thanks it finally worked. The problem that I was having was that I didn’t wait until the car fully went to sleep before performing the procedures in the bulletin
