I'm on attempt #5 to get these calipers. Got a VIN for Discovery 5, it cleared the 'fitment checker' and got order submitted, but the parts supplier just rejected the order, and came back with this: The correct part numbers for your are vehicle # LR113706 and LR113708. The VIN was for a Discovery 5. So... is there a SPECIFIC trim level of the Disco 5 that I should be using on these searches for VIN, or does anyone have a VIN # they can recommend so I can put this thing to bed? Already have the wheels, so I need to make this happen...
Try using this vin SALWG2RV7KA847135. It's from this ebay auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/334511566796
Was going to buy this but bought a different set instead off a different wrecked Disco 5. Good luck
Has anyone experience with 275/70R18 tires with the EVO Corse wheels (20 EFT offset I believe)?

AFAIK the caliper swap is doable with all of the above and more including discontinued Redbourne Alstons. It's a much smaller caliper. (equally as effective and safe per the strict Aussie DOT and LR Australia)
OEM steelies need spacers and trimming of the swapped calipers so that's a no for me.
Tire size without lift on 18's . Lots of options in R18 LT E (1 D) or XL load rating. Nominal sizes below
All R18 tires
265/70 are 32.6" and many users confirm fit in offsets close to OEM (I've gone for this)
275/65 are 32.1" and are very popular
285/60 I've seen on two users posts, both of who did the caliper grind. 31.5" I think so a little less sidewall with the wider tread
255/70 is OEM size. (KO2's run in this size at a D load so might be worth looking at too)
These will all fit without a lift. With the 265/70 being the tallest, be sure to check actual tire size specs rather than nominal listed here. Some can run bigger. 32.9" I've seen on some types in that size.
The no lift tire thread covers it a lot more but that's the meat and potatoes in the 18" rim no lift Defender.
My MY2023.5 P400 has arrived as did my Tufant Kimberly's. My wife drives a MY2019 Disco5 HSE LUX and I think I'm in a position to do the caliper swap. I removed the rear wheel from the Disco and offered up the Kimberly's. As far as I can see there's 5mm or 1/4inch room between them and I think it will work. Before I pull the trigger and take them both to my dealer I wanted the wisdom of this group to confirm my judgment. Am I missing anything, apart from the rim balancing weights what else could touch? The photos below are largely from the rear side of the assembly. Thanks all.
I had to go to crimp-on external weights (old skool) because moving the stick-on inside-the-barrel type way to the inside of the wheel (toward center of the car) to clear the calipers made it so they couldn’t get the wheels balanced. This is OEM 18” steelies.
Grinding is not difficult just takes a while if you're new to it. I am slow and a veritable novice when it comes to this stuff and it was a bit of a grind. Some rims will need less mod than others.
About to start this as well (chose the conversion option).
How much brake fluid will I need to bleed the calipers and not fret?
Not to get up twice, which power bleeder is a good choice today? I see a lot of people are using Motive, but I also see that the rating distribution on Amazon has a disturbing peak at one star, more than I'd expect - are there counterfeits, or just unusually high concentration of not-quite-mechanically-inclined?
If it is still Motive, which variant - 0101 Universal, or 0100 European?
