Default Can you leave the dog in the car and lock it?

How do you lock the 2025 Defender with the key with a dog or a passenger in the car without tripping the alarm?

I think when you hit the lock button twice on the key fob, it will deactivate the inside motion sensor.

My 100# Malamute stays in the car all the time with the door locked and alarm on, including losing his **** when someone walks to close, and has never triggered the alarm.

Check your CCF first, in Europe and some more ROW regions the single lock activates everything

When the vehicle is single or double locked, the alarm sensors arm.
The alarm sensors comprise: A tilt sensor to detect if the vehicle is titled or raised.
An interior motion sensor to detect movement within the vehicle.Prior to setting the alarm,
the sensors can be overridden for one alarm cycle via the touchscreen as follows:
Touch the settings icon.
Select Vehicle.Select Safety and Security.
Touch the Alarm Sensors toggle to switch on or off.

Multican 563 -AlrmSensonSingLock = Alarm sensors on
Changed in = No Alarm sensors on single lock.

So doggie can sit in the front of the car with Windows open shortly, no more alarm and phone calls from InControl.

I usually have my two Huskies with me and when they stay back in the rig with the windows cracked, there aren't any issues. Though, I am only using the "single locking" method and I usually just lock/unlock at the door handle.
