Apparently in the area I live in windshield damage is super common, so much so that insurance covers 3 or 4 cracks per year. My wife’s LR Sport has gotten hit 3x already this yr.
I might consider this…

Cracked this morning on the drive into work...started driver's side at the bottom. No rock, no damage other than the crack.
Rainy day and high 30s temperature...frustrating as it just happened for no reason, not even a stone chip on windshield.
I know others have had the same issue so posting here to document. I called the dealer and they want to see it, take pictures, and send to manufacturer. Going to drop by this afternoon and will keep all posted.
