Default Defender 90 2024 Software Not Update!

Hello

It's been a year since I bought the defender 90 2024 and it hasn't asked me for any update! Why is that, knowing that the car is connected to a very strong wifi network?

My Regards,,

You don't need a wi-fi network for software updates. It helps, but is by no means necessary. Updates are sent out in batches, so not all cars get updated at the same time. However, if you've had it over a year, there might be something wrong, and I'd take it to the dealer to have them fix the problem under warranty and to force a software update.

That's how it looks before the car has downloaded its first OTA update. If you have that screen, it means that you have not received any updates, and as I mentioned above, your car should have received several OTA updates in the span of a year. It could be an issue with a telematics module. Like I said before, your car is a year old and assuming you don't drive 50,000 miles a year, you are still under warranty and everything will be fixed/replaced at no charge.

Yes, make a service appointment at your local dealer. They will know what to do. In the meantime, try disconnecting the battery under the passenger seat, let it sit for ten minutes, reconnect it and see if you get any notifications for an update within the next few days. If that doesn't work, just wait until your service appointment.

No, I've never had that problem. I've never seen or heard anything like that happening on a Defender. Like I said a number of times before, it is best to take it to the dealer and have them sort it out.

I was also wondering why I haven't seen any update in so long. I just checked and I am on the 4.1.0 version installed on 10/1/23. Apparently there have been updates since (what's the latest?) but it's telling me that my vehicle is up to date... Besides the battery disconnect (which I'll try) or going to a dealer (a pain), is there any other way to make it actually check and download updates? I was on Wifi when I checked. Does the infocenter need to be kept on for a while somehow or something?
