Did you know the rear seat cushions are removable, and doing so makes the seats lie flat? This seems like very important info that LR isn’t passing along; most sales people aren’t even aware of this feature and I don’t think it’s in any of the manuals. So far I’ve only seen one video about it on YouTube.

Yes, I tried that, it pulled both plastic clips out of their holes, broke a tab off of one. While the seat backs are nearly horizontal, there is a 5-6 inch rise, so not really a flat area.

I have a 10 year old who rides in the back seat of my d90 often and she gets in and out of the back seat without any issues whatsoever. Having air suspension makes it even better as i have the vehicle set to automatic access height for ingress and egress. As for cargo space, not an issue for me either. With the two rear seat folded down and keep the single rear seat upright, i can have one rear passenger and still be able to carry a folding bike, two carry on luggages, two, full size duffle bags, three backpacks and a bunch of miscellaneous items. The d90 p300 is the ultimate road-trip vehicle to me!
