Deliver Checklist?
My '24 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE order just arrived at the dealership (much earlier than the April expected delivery date). I'm planning to visit the dealership tomorrow and will want to make sure everything is in proper working order before taking ownership. I tried searching the forum for a delivery inspection checklist but did not come across anything (apologies if this was missed). Any helpful notes or tips for things to inspect? Thanks in advance.
Enjoy the delivery experience. Hopefully your dealership rolls out the red carpet. Mine did and it was nice as usual.
Just have them walk you through all the functions. The guy that did that for us gave us his card and said to call/text anytime with questions about how a feature works. He's very responsive.
You won't be able to tell what software version you are on. It'll just say "up to date". The service guy won't want to scan it and find that for you either. If an update is ready it will push OTA later.
One thing I'd make sure is that your App connects to the vehicle. Of everything, that was the thing I needed help with. (my fault, used an email that I shouldn't have).
You don't need a checklist, just try every feature so you know how it all works.

For some reason I remember the dealer had a heck of a time getting my phone app working when I took delivery. I think it was because my email address changed from when I first registered, not by choice, excite went belly-up after like 25 years of free email service. That might be one thing to make sure of is the phone app should be in good working order before you head home because that's your remote start. Other than that I can't think of much, it has been a while for me. They'll give you the two keys, one should be in a box with a keychain etc. My dealership did a good job with all of these details. Oh, and any dealer installed accessories, you can doublecheck on those. I had Bright Metal Pedals, Mud Flaps, Spare Tire Cover and Click and Work. Never used the Click and Work once, the back seat in the 90 with manual fore and aft pretty much shot down the notion of setting up shop back there with my laptop when I'm on call and on the road.... last but not least tire pressure was set very high from the factory. I don't remember the exact number psi it was but have them take a close look at that, you may need to air down significantly.
Congratulations and good luck with your new defender, fun times!

Received two last year, D110 and D90 from two different dealers. Both were very good. Don’t give up on the pivipro software - it should be at least 4.1.1. The D90 did not have the full digital screen (not the infotainment). Not a big deal, but didn’t realize it until later! I frankly don’t think the dealer was aware either. Moral of the story, dealers were very good, but once you sign and drive it off the lot, it’s all your baby!
Did not have any issues on delivery with either of our Defenders. There are a lot of settings you can select yourself...how aggressive you want the safety features to intervene such as lane keep assist, automatic lock and unlock features to set, plus interior lighting options. May be helpful for a salesperson to walk you through where to find those settings in the screen menus. If your first JLR product, learn how to select traction programs for different surfaces, air suspension settings, plus low gear and low traction launch mode if you ordered offroad features.
Here is one odd thing I found on our 2023 about a month later...in the styrofoam box with the jack tools is a silver stud that helps you align and mount the spare tire. The one that came with our 2023 was too big to fit through a lug nut hole. So once I put the spare tire on I couldn't get the stud back off. Tried the one that came with our 2021 and it easily passes through a lug nut opening. Dealer ordered me a new one.
