GAP IID Tool Summary
On my 2026 110 V8 today I tested the GAP tool on two parameters:
1 - Remember last start/stop state - works perfectly
2 - Keep DRLs on when the turning signal is active - does not work as expected. When the turn signal is on, the white halo goes away and vice-versa alternating. Before the halo would just turn off completely while the blinker was active. So the CCF 'do nothing' setting doesn't work. I think it's because the DRL 'voltage control' setting is off from factory and I didn't want to mess with that.
Maybe someone who either has a '26 outside of USA or knows how to do this can chime in on these settings. I haven't tried the dim setting because the voltage control I assume would need to be on.
And I think JLR changed the CANbus numbers / names for the auto-fold / unfold exterior mirrors as well. I only see the unfold function that I can turn off but not the fold function. I'm trying to deactivate this every time the car is locked. I can manually fold/unfold when I need it, less stress on those motors and gears.

I do have my all of the lights able to be turned off when in park though.
Another one i like is allowing the fogs to be on "with" high-beams.
1 - '26 Defender 110 V8
- I've disabled the fake engine noise and it does make a difference, the car is quieter now, I like it.
- No luck on disabling the external auto-fold / unfold and keeping the manual fold/unfold functionality.
- Fog + High Beams, works.
2 - '25 Range Rover P530 SE LWB (Twin Turbo BMW V8)
- Also Disabled the fake engine noise, very small difference but it's even quieter now.
- Same as the Defender on the auto-fold / unfold disabling feature. No dice.
- Remembering the last state of the engine start/stop. It works, I'm so glad, I hated that thing.
- Fog + High Beams, success as well.
Now I'm trying to find how to disable for life the utterly annoying open door chime with ignition or engine on and also have this mirror folding on locking up gone for both vehicles.

Need to reset the service indicator- without going thru the whole thread, anyone point me to how to do that with my GAP tool on my wife's '24 110 V8? Haven't used the tool for a while... TIA.
(it was almost worth the price of admission just to turn off auto stop/start!!)

Try to earch google. I've seen it somewhere in the forum how to reset the service indicator in 3-4 simple steps without gap tool.
For those of you who disabled the automatic exterior mirror folding/unfolding in the Defender, did you also lose the manual folding/unfolding function? It is supposed to work when you press both mirror selection buttons at the same time on the driver's door.
When this was turned off in my '25 Range Rover, the 'digital' button on the door disappeared, thus no manual control whatsoever.

That's a weak implementation of the functionality IMHO. If I still want to fold them when needed (tight spaces, car wash run, etc) I should be able to manually fold/unfold while not having the car do it every single time it gets locked. In my older GLS-63 this was a simple choice on the screen, JLR should implement this in the Pivi Pro, something like "Auto-Mirrors-Fold on lock - On/Off" and keep the manual folding via buttons on the door always available.
Edit:
I tested MultiCAN-463 DRLBehWhilstDIsAct which is how the halo behaves when the indicator is on, the Dim option works and I kept it that way instead of the factory Off option. As mentioned before, the No Change option which I thought would keep the halo on steady at full brightness in fact alternates on/off with the amber indicator, looks very odd.
I also tested MultiCAN-787 Speedo Minor Scale which is Disabled by default. It does nothing when Enabled. I thought the speedometer circle would change or the speed number at the center would change but nothing happened.

I have received a reply from JLR... I'm not holding my breath.
