l have sprayed every exposed metal part/suspension part/bolt etc on my Defender with XCP
Which is a clear wax type coating designed for motorcycles
Any proprietary clear "anti corrosion" wax spray will work.
After a U.K. winter of salt on the roads and the Defender used daily everything still looks new.
