Why turn it off to clean it? The screen won’t care. If you care clean it when the car is shut off. I think you can just press and hold the off/power round button in top right corner. But maybe that press and hold only reboots display. I will go test it and report back.

In fact there is no way because as soon as you pass the cloth to clean it, it turns on again 
You have to be patient by keeping the door open after 15 minutes (I think) the system goes to sleep
